My Story

My husband and I had covid at the same time. We had exact same symptoms at the time. We just about avoided his kit aa location according to our GP, but we're very ill at home. It took 6 weeks to get mobile again and somewhat back to feeling ok although weakness and SOB (shortness of breath) persisted. Doctors never once validated our post covid or long covid issues, always saying it's "possibly" long covid. We continue to this day with a variety of health issues i.e. fatigue, non specific rash/itch, swollen painful glands, and gastro issues. Both of us have very similar issues. We both suffered severe set backs after the 2nd dose of the AZ vaccine. We believe that we had the same strain of the virus prevalent in 03/ 2020 but cannot get a medic to validate this. We are afraid of what may trigger symptoms again in the future and cannot get any advice on same from mainstream medics...

For doctors to do follow ups and to keep patients informed

My Story

I have been suffering with fatigue, anxiety joints pain, palpations and chest pains. I now have asthma and I find that I'm just forgotten about. I am on a list for a long covid clinic but really I don't hear anything from my doctor unless my symptoms are worse and I need tablets. I feel tired all the time and feel old it's frustrating and I feel like a burden to my husband who I would be lost without him. There are never answers just it's lc and it will take time. That's frustrating. I went to physio yesterday to help build my strength and hopefully this will help.

Most Challenging Aspect

Trying to work from home while recovering, which is hard to keep focused or just to stay awake.

Most Positive Aspect

My family's support
